Easy to install, completely integrated pollen collection unit that can be attached to the HiveIQ Hive Base – 9 Frame. Using an intricate actuator, a handle on the front of the Hive Base can be rotated 180-degrees left and right to activate and deactivate the pollen collection system. When activated a metal grate with 5.2mm holes is raised, sitting directly behind the Three Stage Hive Entrance it forces the bees to go through the holes prior to entering the hive. This will scrap the pollen off the bee, dropping it under the base. When deactivated, the metal grate sits flush on the hive base and the bees can walk across it to enter the hive with the pollen.
